Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Henderson is proud to celebrate your business with a ribbon cutting ceremony. This service is at no cost to members who are celebrating a grand opening or milestone anniversary. It is unique way for the Chamber to help market you and your business.

Ribbon cuttings must be planned a minimum of 4 weeks in advance. Requested dates are on a first come-first serve basis. Dates will not be held or added to the Chamber calendar until this form is completed in full and approved via email conformation. Ribbon cuttings outside of normal business hours may incur a fee as outlined below. Any applicable fees must be paid no less than two weeks prior to the date of the event to guarantee services. The Chamber cannot guarantee attendance at your event. It is suggested that you consider hosting an open house in conjunction with your ribbon cutting ceremony. – Invite your clients, neighbors, family, friends and colleagues, promote your event on social media and to other groups you may be a part of. Facility tours and reception are recommended for after the ceremony. The LGBT Chamber will provide our large, red or rainbow ribbon and ceremonial oversized scissors and staff member to capture the photo.

Standard Ribbon Cuttings are complimentary for members at the Local Business Level* or higher. To include (1) event to be listed on the Chamber website and in weekly newsletter, chamber to provide a staff member or Ambassador to facilitate your ceremony, large ceremonial scissors and ribbon, a digital photo of your ribbon cutting ceremony, photo to be posted on Chamber’s social media. The LGBT Chamber will provide invite to City and County officials. *The Chamber cannot guarantee event attendance by elected officials or media.

Marketing Package to include all items included in the Standard Ribbon Cutting Package PLUS… Chamber to create an event on the Chamber’s official Facebook page and guarantee 2 social media posts prior to your event, Facebook live video of your ribbon cutting ceremony, press release to be distributed by the Chamber following your event, and ribbon cutting photo included in Chamber E-newsletter.
